Through our initiatives, we transform knowledge into practical methods and tools that strengthen work on representation, discrimination, mental health, power structures, barriers, and privilege within Danish music and cultural life.
The association focuses on promoting intersectional equality and addressing discriminatory behaviour at a structural level. We therefore approach representation through several parameters, including age, ethnicity, disability, skin colour, gender identity, mental health, sexuality, and socio-economic background.
Another Life’s vision is to inspire and influence all stakeholders and organisations in Danish music and culture to integrate considerations of representation and discrimination into their overall strategies and daily practices.
We strive to ensure that the work surrounding representation and mental health does not become a passing trend within the music and cultural sectors, but rather an embedded and enduring part of everyday working life.
Support our work while gaining access to exclusive resources and benefits designed for both organisations and individuals.
Strengthening our efforts to create a more representative and accessible music and cultural sector with better conditions for everyone, including the continued development of our membership community.
